Yesterday, United States District Court Judge Tana Lin for the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Washington issued a preliminary injunction lifting the Trump administration’s unlawful freeze of federal funding for the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. NEVI is a transformative $5 billion initiative to build reliable and convenient fast charging stations for electric vehicles along major highways nationwide.
Today, the Arizona Commerce Authority released new numbers highlighting the jobs and business investment at risk due to cuts from the Congressional Reconciliation Bill. In total, the reckless legislation would put 69,000 jobs and $58 billion in investments in Arizona at risk.
