Affordable Clean Energy Benefits for Seniors is a project of the Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans (AARA).

The mission of the Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans (AARA) is to ensure social and economic justice and to protect the civil rights of retirees and all older Arizonans. To accomplish this mission, AARA advocates for the protection of rights and benefits for older Americans and for future generations.

While much of our work focuses on protecting Medicare and Social Security, we also address energy affordability. We aim to educate retirees and provide accurate information so they can effectively engage with decision-makers, including the Arizona Corporation Commission, on issues such as utility rate increases. AARA also encourages older Arizonans to support renewable energy projects, which promote affordable energy, grid resiliency, and a healthier environment.
