Judge Orders Lifting of Trump Administration’s Unlawful Freeze of Roughly A Billion Dollars For Electric Vehicle Charging

Yesterday, United States District Court Judge Tana Lin for the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Washington issued a preliminary injunction lifting the Trump administration’s unlawful freeze of federal funding for the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. NEVI is a transformative $5 billion initiative to build reliable and convenient fast charging stations for electric vehicles along major highways nationwide.
